Improvements to the battle interface
- The page will now lock descriptions on primary/subaction when you click them. This allows the system to display other hover information, but snap back to the primary/subaction when you unhover. Did that make any sense? No matter, it's better.
- You can no longer click to attack dead monsters.
- The interactive parts of the interface will now be disabled when the battle has ended.
New battle mode
The battle mode "Grindfest" has been added. The Grindfest is an endless series of battles that is only terminated when you are defeated, or when you run away.
Starting a Grindfest Challenge doesn't cost anything, but the EXP awarded in the Grindfest mode is 20% of that of normal encounters. Furthermore, monsters only do half normal damage in Grindfest mode, but the number of monsters will increase for each round.
Skills
- The skill system and skill pane have been enabled. Note that currently, the only skill available is "Flee", which will cause you to escape from the current battle.
Magic
- The applied effects from the spells Sleep, Silence and Confuse have now been implemented, and should be working.
Aura
- Your SP display will now update properly when you change your auras.
Character stats
- Agility will now add 1 point per 3 to Action Speed, up from 1 point per 5 before.

5 rounds, killed 1 and half killed a 2nd in the 6th round shame it costs me 1.3k+ to fully heal everything afterward xD

Grindfest will be one of those things that's great right before bed or before you head out the door for work or a day out. Just fight your ass off and then by the time you get back to your computer you're all nice and healed and ready to go. Nice addition, when taken in moderation of course.

Should have read this before I tried out the Grindfest. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Not that my meagre stats take very long to recharge...

I'm not sure I've actually fully explained overcharge before, but when you get past 100% it also starts padding the +min damage of the spirit attack, if you get it to the current maximum of 230% the Spirit Attack will do between 130% and 230% of base max damage. 10. Technically there's nothing stopping me from putting up battles with even more, except that due to lack of screen real estate, with more than 10 you'd have to scroll the monster window. (Random encounters are max 4 I believe, but the most difficult (impossible?) arena challenges have up to 10.)
