Because of some recent and persistent large-scale abuse, a number of changes has been made to the Dawn Event and Random Encounters to make them less exploitable as far as automated credit farming goes.

- The Dawn Event now only awards a negligible default credit amount unless you made a forum post in the last 30 days. (This does not affect people with a credit grant from donation stars.)

- Random Encounters will now randomly start with a Riddlemaster. The chance for this happening is quite low, but increases if you failed one recently.

- To compensate for both, the credit multiplier for Random Encounters was changed from x2 to x3.

Hopefully these changes will take care of the worst of it.

(Note that the abuse did not start with the recent lowering from 60 minute to 30 minute cooldown on the Random Encounters, but that change was mostly to prevent it from being an advantage for single accounts.)

It's almost as if having a lot of tradable goods/currencies encourages multi-accounting.

In another news, next version of RE would require (random) to recite parts of Hamlet, perform Mayan Rain Dance or building house of cards (with full 52 card pack) before fight begin. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Seriously tho... Don't believe that HV-cheating is still around. Some people are really beyond low. Conning simple text game - very HEROIC. Ugh. Any abusive word used to describe such little creatures is classic Victorian-English understatement.

The multi-dawn farming is probably 4channers who HATE you for standing between them and all the hentai in the world, hate that fscing stupid browser gaem, want free credits plox nao to download galleries, and don't realize how inefficient a method it is. If the culprits actually played HV, they'd have more credits than that anyway.

I've never felt the need to post before, but a 5 credit Dawn was a most unpleasant surprise. I do appreciate the decrease in RE cool-down though.

It's free credit you get everyday requiring you to do nothing more than open the main page once a day. I actually continued 'logging in' daily for those credits during a period of haitus sime time ago. Like you said, it's not a lot but every bit's still useful. That's before i got my star, btw.
