There are various types. They generally wouldn't be able to play any faster than a human, but they don't need silly things like food or sleep.

You wouldn't even be able to get past 4turns/s anyways, so I figure it's not any faster than manual clicks.

Python with BeautilfulSoup would also be awesome as a bot for HV, but it would be hard to disguise it as a browser. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Just curious, but assuming he did use a bot and seeing how he just make a new account to say he didn't. Wouldn't he be able to just continue using the bot again? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Maybe he would be happier if you gave him a log of whatever program/script keeps track of it. Just as proof that he really was botting.

You don't have to, obviously. But he did go through the trouble of making a new account just to say that no, he wasn't botting. So... yeah. I dunno. Just a thing I thought of. He did lose quite a bit after all.
