The HV wiki said that you get Tier 2 elemental spells at 50 elemental prof, but I have 60 and I don't have them. Either the wiki is wrong, or something is wrong here.

Also, the required level for putting AP in Archmage is 85. If, as the wiki says, you get Tier 3 elemental spells at 100 elemental prof, and (IIRC) you can't get your prof above your level, then something must also be wrong here.

It seems there's both level and prof requirement for those spells. The prof should be correct as it's from Tenboro, so I guess you can see if you get your 3re tier elemental spell at lv. 100.

Also, prof from equip/armor should also count (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yes, but my level is more than 90. I should have the Tier 2 spells by now, either way.

I think I have the same issue, for all that my level is a scant 76 - and I'm at 62 elemental proficiency.

OK, I got Inferno at Lvl 98 and proficiency 66.62 [effective 67]. I might have gotten it some time in the last three levels - I gained all three in one go, so I'm not sure. With an effective proficiency of 90, I don't have anything more, so it seems tied to both level and proficiency.

Based on personal experience, it seems the system can only add 1 new spell every 5 levels, so if you have a backlog of spells like me, you'll have to grind alot to get them all (I got Sleep at 90, Inferno at 95, Corruption at 100 and Blizzard 105).

My Elemental proficiency is 108 and my lv is 122.
I got Blizzard at lv 115 and Chained Lightning at 118
but I still not learned Downburst.

Really? Because ever since my last post, I've been picking things up every 5 levels (when I can check).

I think you might have gotten Blizzard at 113. Try to level up and see if you get Downburst.
