The Forge

- A new (default) tab was added to the Forge menu that only shows the currently equipped items.

- The duration of all equipment enchantments was reduced from 4 hours to 1 hour.

- Fixed a bug where elemental strike equipment could gain an additional elemental strike instead of Hollowforged (void damage) at potency level 10 under certain circumstances.

- The functionality of Infusions has been extended. They now have two special uses in the Forge:
-- Enchant weapons with additional Elemental Strike effects. A maximum of two Elemental Strikes can be active on a weapon at any given time.
-- Enchant armor with Elemental Proofing. This adds +5 resistance to the element in question.

- Infusions and Shards now share a loot table.

- Natural Void weapons (Void Ethereal and Hollowforged) now automatically gain an additional unique Void Strike effect.
-- This does NOT count towards the enchantment limit, so Natural Void weapons can have a total of three Elemental Strikes.

- Stats gained through potency unlocks can no longer be upgraded. (As was the original intention.)

Burden and Interference Tweaks

- Burden and Interference now have a higher base, but no longer scale with equipment level.

- Burden/Interference reductions were removed from the special player titles.

- Featherweight Charm now reduces Burden/Interference by 7 or 50%, whichever is highest.

Magic Changes

- The default melee attack for Staff has been replaced with a new pseudo-magical melee attack named Arcane Blow. This is a physical attack that assumes the damage type of your staff, but adds half your magical attack damage to your physical attack damage to increase its power.

- Curative Magic Proficiency has been removed. Curative spells are now instead affected by Supportive Magic Proficiency.
-- If your Curative Proficiency was higher than your Supportive Proficiency, the highest of the two will be used to calculate the effective Supportive Proficiency.

- Sleeping targets can no longer evade, parry or resist attacks. (Previously they could still parry for no particular reason.)

Gear Changes

- Infusions no longer add an elemental strike when used in battle. It still adds resistance and magic damage as before.

- Infusion of Gaia, Astral weapons, Soulproof armor and Priestess gear has been retired.

- Ebony Staffs were rolled into Redwood Staffs to create a new, slightly more powerful variant with bonuses to Elemental, Supportive and Deprecating magic.

- Oak and Willow Staffs now drop with a smallish Counter-Resist bonus, and have also gained two elemental magic bonuses each.

- Club, Rapier, Estoc and Mace now all count as "tier 2" in the loot generator, and the drop rate for this tier was increased

- Specific mitigations no longer use gear level scaling.

Weapon Procs and Fighting Style Changes

- Bleeding Wound: It is now stackable, and starts out at 0.4x the previous damage for the first stack, going up to 2.0x damage for five stacks.

- Overwhelming Strikes: The parry bonus was removed, the base duration was increased by 1, and it now stacks. The stacking effect gives 20% counter-parry for the first stack increasing to 100% counter-parry for five stacks.

- Penetrated Armor: Now stacks up to three times, -33% physical mitigation per stack. (Changed from outright -100% phys mit.)

- Stunned: Stunned targets can no longer evade. (They can however still resist and parry.)

- Ether Theft: Replaced with the new self-proc Ether Tap. Still triggered by shattering a Coalesced Mana proc, but unlike Ether Theft it can still proc even if the attack kills the monster, and it does not require keeping the monster alive.
-- Killing a target that has Coalesced Mana with Arcane Blow will always trigger Ether Tap.

- The outermost 0.2x damage strike for Two-Handed was removed.

Misc

- The forumla for primary stat contributions to Physical Mitigation and Magical Mitigation has changed, and is now 100 * (1 - (1200 / (1200 + STAT1 + STAT2 / 2)))), where STAT1 is end, and STAT2 is str for phys and wis for mag. Hard capped to 80, were you ever to get that high.

- Elemental mitigation bonuses from auras were removed.

- Difficulty modifiers for effective level for calculation of monster ranges were adjusted, and are now (starting with Hard) +5/10/20/30/50/75/100.
-- Note that this is added to YOUR level before being plugged into the calculation.

- The training Karma Amplification was disabled and will eventually be removed.

- Aura Slots were removed. There are no longer any arbitrary limitations to how many auras can be active.


0.73.1

- Skyward Sword, Vital Strike and Rending Blow now all inflict a maxed stack of their respective procs.

- Ether Tap can now stack twice, and can now also re-proc while you have it.

- The duration of Ether Tap was increased by one across the board.

- Ability points from the Aura Slot upgrades can now be reset.

- Reduced time per infusion for weapon enchantments to 15 minutes. As before, you can stack multiple enchantments to increase the time for longer battles.


0.73.2

- For equipment that had a bonus to the old Curative Proficiency, these now have a Supportive Proficiency that is equal to the highest of the old Curative and Supportive (if any).


0.73.3

- Fixed buggy interaction between bleed and offhand strike.


0.73.4

- Fixed a bug where upgrading an activated aura wouldn't take effect until you deactivated and then reactivated it.

Sadly melees got more nerfs than mages. Oh well, shit happens. The only thing which warms my heart is the fact mages got a good piece of "backdoor intervention" as well. Now you guys may whine more to make me happy. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

A few things:

Refund for refined aura?

Also: - Stunned: Stunned targets can no longer evade. (They can however still resist and parry.)

Not very useful at high levels since everyone and their mother will have accuracy above 200%.

Featherweight should allow burden and interference to go into the negatives. This will make it worthwhile for mages (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

So what will we do with Magic Missle now, hmm...

Also, no EDB for ethereal staves (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif). Give us EDB of the potency 10 element (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

So now the effectiveness of curative spells are affected by supportive magic proficiency?

My evade is down 1% & burden is up 4%. Fire & Wind resistance is gone. Doesn't look good. But at least I still have Electrical resistance. Nm, my Evade is higher now, after changing equipments.

And what is Void Elemental Strike?

Is the Infusion of Gaia in my inventory useless now that it is retired?

Just tested Estoc vs Scythe. Both pretty good!

Estoc is still faster. Maybe allow up to 350% Bleed on 2hand and 500% on one Hand weapons so people will use this over Clubs.
